On January 8, 2026, the exhibition of paintings \u201cPortrait\u201d<\/em> by artist Al\u012bna Petk\u016bne (Art Dalyna) was opened at the Polish House. A wide circle of guests gathered at 30 Var\u0161avas Street – children, young people, adults, the artist\u2019s friends and colleagues, as well as representatives of various institutions. The opening of the exhibition became a warm and lively meeting place, with both people and art at its heart.<\/p>\n The event was given a bright and musical atmosphere by the children\u2019s and youth ensemble \u201cKuku\u0142eczka.\u201d<\/em> Their performance symbolically connected generations and invited reflection on how art is able to preserve memories while at the same time revealing new experiences.<\/p>\n Al\u012bna Petk\u016bne\u2019s works are dedicated to the portrait as a story about a person \u2014 about fragility, strength, longing, and the light that lives within everyone. The paintings are emotionally rich, yet at the same time delicate and nuanced.
