On January 12 of this year, a Children\u2019s Carnival full of fantasy and laughter took place at the Polish House in Daugavpils, organized by the creative team of the Polish House. The event was dedicated to Polish primary school\u2013aged children, and its timing perfectly fit into Poland\u2019s traditional carnival season\u2014a time of joy, dancing, and colorful masks.<\/p>\n
The program included dances, riddle-solving, movement games, and carnival costume presentations. Children attended the event dressed in vibrant costumes, representing both fairy-tale characters and various winter-themed figures. The festive atmosphere was filled with laughter, spontaneity, and genuine children\u2019s joy.<\/p>\n
The highlight of the event was the arrival of Santa Claus, who brought warm greetings and sweet gifts, creating a special surprise for the children.<\/p>\n
The Children\u2019s Carnival became a beautiful start to the Polish House\u2019s activities in the new year and once again confirmed that shared, creative events strengthen bonds and foster a sense of community among Polish families in Daugavpils.<\/p>\n
The event was funded with the support of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, caring for Poles and people of Polish origin abroad in 2026, with the assistance of the \u201cPomoc Polakom na Wschodzie im. Jana Olszewskiego\u201d Foundation.<\/p>\n
