The Daugavpils Region Artists Association brings together artists working in various artistic directions, sub-genres, and creative explorations, revealing a broad diversity of expressive means and perspectives.

The exhibition presents artworks created here and now in Daugavpils (and beyond) — paintings, graphic art, sculptures, and other forms of visual art. It traces the cycle of the creative process — from inner wintering to vibrant blooming and generous giving.

From snow-white — through subtly unfolding — to vividly flowering, rich and abundant. From the frozen — through the flowing and multifaceted — to the precise and clear, the abstract and the comprehensible, the sought and the yet undiscovered.

The exhibition reveals the strength of diversity, where distinct artistic styles and voices create a shared space for dialogue. The different works converse with one another, marking the continuity of the creative cycle. From the first impulse of inspiration to a carefully nurtured and mature result — each stage becomes an essential part of the overall story, where the process of creation is just as significant as the artwork itself.

The exhibition will be on view at the Daugavpils Palace of Culture (92 Smilšu Street) from March 6 until May 31.
