One of the brightest, most sincere and colorful participants of the television show “Koru Kari” – Daugavpils Dark Blue Choir invites listeners to an energetic show concert in the Daugavpils Palace of Culture.

The Daugavpils Dark Blue Choir is led by Arnis Slobožanins – musician, leader of the group “Dabasu Durovys”, historian, TV presenter, film producer and patriot of Latgale culture. The Dark Blue Choir has united singers from various cities of Latgale and nearby regions – Daugavpils, Preili, Līvāni, Rēzekne, Baltinava, Ilūkste, Jēkabpils, Svente and other places.

In the repertoire you will hear both the songs that were performed in the show – “Dūd Dīveņi vokorā”, “Reits”, “Satisfaction”, as well as other compositions that are beloved in Latgale, throughout Latvia and the world, which the choir has not yet managed to perform in the show.
The Daugavpils Dark Blue Choir features several soloists who have already been active in their musical development before the show – Kristīne Voitova, Santa Savicka-Drozdova, Amanda Lapa, Ģirts Ločmelis, Oskars Bērziņš, Matīss Lojāns, Aleksandrs Grohoļskis and others – we will also hear them perform their own and other artists’ songs.
