The 15th edition of the Belarusian Fair in Daugavpils festival will take place!

On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., the Daugavpils Culture Palace Concert Hall (Smilšu Street 92) will host the XV International Folk Culture Festival “Belarusian Fair in Daugavpils”, organized by the Belarusian Cultural Center of the House of Unity.

The annual festival “Belarusian Fair in Daugavpils” will bring together Belarusian amateur ensembles from various cities of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland. The collectives will perform magnificent dance performances, listen to cheerful songs and heartfelt rural humor. In the foyer of the Culture Palace, viewers will be greeted by a traveling photo exhibition with moments of the festival in different years, an exhibition of autumn delicacies and homemade products, as well as master classes in Belarusian traditional decorative and applied art. The book exchange campaign is also returning: donate a Belarusian book to the Belarusian Cultural Center and receive a festival souvenir as a gift. Admission to the event is free.

This year, the cultural forum is held in honor of the festival’s anniversary. As the festival organizers indicate: “During the event, we will look back into the past and “turn the pages of history” to see how a simple concert, changing the theme and expanding the number of participants, has grown into an international festival of the Belarusian diaspora in the Baltic States over the course of fifteen years.”

The goal of the festival “Belarusian Fair in Daugavpils” is to preserve and popularize the Belarusian cultural heritage, as well as to strengthen intercultural dialogue and international relations.
