On May 28 at 5:00 p.m., the Daugavpils Culture Palace will host the exhibition “PRESENT – ART” created by the Daugavpils Region Artists Association – a magnificent and diverse artistic gift for the 750th anniversary of the city of Daugavpils.
The Daugavpils Region Artists Association (DRMA) is a professional creative organization that unites professional artists of different generations, schools and industries – painters, graphic artists, sculptors, ceramists, textile artists, set designers, designers and other representatives of visual arts.
The exhibition “PRESENT – ART” highlights the presence of artists in today’s cultural space – it is a contemporary testimony to creativity, vision and diversity of thought. The exhibition reflects the artists’ individual approaches, stories and visual messages, which at the same time mark both their personal style and the development of regional art.
