On October 10, from 11:00, the annual business support event “Latgale Business Day 2025” organized by the Daugavpils City Municipality and the Latgale branch of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK) will take place at the Daugavpils Culture Palace (Smilšu Street 92).

The aim of the event is to promote the development of the Latgale region’s business environment by providing informative support to entrepreneurs on current socio-economic trends and development opportunities, security aspects and new technologies, including the opportunities and challenges of using artificial intelligence.

This year, the event will be led by Jānis Endziņš, Chairman of the Board of the LTRK, who will provide a broader insight into the context of Latvia’s socio-economic development. During the day, entrepreneurs will share knowledge about city development projects and opportunities, mastering market segments and introducing new products, as well as artificial intelligence development trends and its safe use.

Daina Krīviņa, Head of the Development Department of the Daugavpils City Municipality, Toms Andersons, General Director of SIA “Nexis Fibers”, Colonel Māris Tūtins, Head of the Information Analysis and Management Department of the Joint Staff of the Latvian Armed Forces, Pauls Jansons, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Development Department of SIA “Tet”, Artūrs Piliksers, Founder and Board Member of SIA “Bonusukarte”, and Ingus Ozoliņš, Director of LMT Corporate Client Service, will talk about the development of business in the region, current trends, security and the use of modern tools.
