On April 26 of this year at 5:00 PM, the middle-generation dance group “Saime” of the Latvian and Latgalian Cultural Center of the Unity House and its friends invite you to a dance concert “Lobs ar loba sasatyka” at the Daugavpils Culture Palace (Smilšu Street 92).

Along with the hosts of the concert, the audience will be delighted with the smooth dance steps of friendly groups from Latvia: Garkalne Municipality Culture Center “Berģi” middle-generation dance group “Saime” (led by Baiba Kravčenoka), Kuldīga Culture Center middle-generation dance group “Bandava” (led by Arvis Sprude), Salaspils Culture Center middle-generation dance group “Ūsa” (led by Tatjana Madžule), “Cīpars” society middle-generation dance group “Cīpars” (led by Katrīna Biseniece), as well as Visagina Culture Center dance group “Gerve” (led by Sergey Kotovas) and Panevėža Culture Center middle-generation dance group “Miestelenai” (led by Justas Nagrockis) from Lithuania. Admission to the concert is free.

When it comes to their love of dance, dancers themselves say in the words of A. Einstein: “We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fear, we dance for hope, we dance for screams, we are dancers and we create dreams.”
