Musical science fiction show for the whole family “Homo Digitalius”
The Russian Youth Theatre “AURA” of the National Cultures Centre invites you to the premiere of the extraordinary production “Homo Digitalius”, which will take place on June 8 at 2:30 PM at the Daugavpils Palace of Culture.
For the past five years, the Russian Youth Theatre “Aura” has been creating vibrant and contemporary performances, but this time audiences can expect something truly special.
What if the future has already been taken over by artificial intelligence? A world where devices are more important than conversations, and artificial intelligence knows more about us than we know about ourselves… Sounds familiar? Imagine that there is still a way out — if we stop in time.
“Homo Digitalius” is a dynamic, at times ironic and touching performance about teenagers who accidentally find themselves in the future and try to understand how not to lose what matters most — emotions, friendship, creativity, and themselves.
The audience can expect a kaleidoscope of music, movement, humor, and unexpected twists. The performance does not preach, but instead captivates and allows everyone to draw their own conclusions. It is a story that makes you want to put your smart devices aside, at least for a moment.
The performance will take place at the Daugavpils Palace of Culture, 92 Smilšu Street. The production will be performed in Russian. Admission is free of charge.
Invitations to the premiere can be obtained at the New Forstadt Cultural Space, 14 Varšavas Street, Daugavpils.
