The Invisible in Mirrorland
Three-dimensional decorations, laser animation, giant balloons, and a waterfall of soap bubbles. In Daugavpils on February 1, a one-of-a-kind family performance with dazzling special effects and a meaningful message will be presented.
Artists from the creative collective “Šoobalt” will showcase a high-tech production that reflects—both visually and through its storyline—our rapidly evolving world, which has fully entered the era of neural networks and gadgets.
The performance tells the story of a modern young man—a prince who has never read a single book in his life, spent all his free time at the computer, and dreamed of becoming the “king of likes.” One day, he finds himself in the strange world of Mirrorland, where he must learn to live without a mobile phone and other comforts of civilization, while fighting dark forces to save his kingdom.
The show features grand 3D sets and hi-tech costumes, with the storytelling enhanced by laser and mirror special effects.
