During the Daugavpils City Festival, on June 7 at 4:00 PM, the 30th Anniversary Concert of the youth dance ensemble “Uzori” will take place at the Daugavpils Palace of Culture. Several generations of dancers will take the stage to tell the story of the ensemble’s creative journey through dance.

In the anniversary concert, “Uzori” will invite the audience on an exciting journey through time, portraying its thirty years of activity—from the ensemble’s very first steps to the present day. Throughout the evening, the rich history of the group will be revealed, highlighting the most significant stages of its development, creative achievements, and the personalities who have shaped its unique character. The concert will also be a story about the people who continue the work that began 30 years ago, preserving and developing the ensemble’s traditions.

The audience will enjoy a diverse and colorful concert program featuring both beloved performances and new dance productions. Latvian, Latgalian, Russian, Ukrainian, and Roma folk dances will be performed on stage, showcasing the character, rhythms, and colors of different cultures.

A special atmosphere will be created by the participation of “Uzori” alumni, who now continue their artistic activities in other dance ensembles.
