On Tuesday, January 27, at 5:00 PM, the opening of the photo exhibition “2025 in the Belarusian Cultural Center” will take place at the Forštate Cultural Space of the National Centre of Cultures.

The exhibition presents the most significant events of the past year in the activities of the Belarusian Cultural Center, captured in photographs. The display features the International Folklore Festival “Baltica” and the National Cultures Festival “Blooming of Cultures”, the concerts “Dedication to Latvia” and the concert dedicated to the 750th anniversary of Daugavpils, the anniversary events of the dance ensemble Ļanok and the festival “Belarusian Fair in Daugavpils”, as well as the conference “Belarusian Readings”.

The exhibition also offers insight into festival trips across Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland, creative meetings with poets and artists, Belarusian traditional celebrations, and other cultural initiatives.

The year 2025 marked the conclusion of the Belarusian Cultural Center’s activities — as of January 1, 2026, the center was incorporated into the National Centre of Cultures of the Daugavpils Palace of Culture.

The photo exhibition will be on view at the Forštate Cultural Space
(41a Vidzemes Street, 2nd floor) from January 27 to February 27,
on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Admission is free.

Please note that photo and video recording will take place during the exhibition opening event for publicity and historical purposes.
