The staff of Daugavpils Palace of Culture recently traveled to Tallinn, Estonia, as part of an exchange visit, during which they visited the Alexela Concert Hall. The purpose of the trip was to meet with the institution’s management, learn about the organization of its operations, gain insight into project implementation experience and the practice of hosting cultural events, as well as to establish professional contacts for future collaboration.

Considering the need to develop Daugavpils Palace od Culture capacity in organizing exhibitions and curating contemporary art programs, the staff also visited the PoCo – Pop-Art Museum in Tallinn. During the visit, they gained experience in creating contemporary art exhibitions, as well as in their technical and content-related management.

This business trip contributes to the ongoing development of Daugavpils Palace of Culture, allowing staff to enhance their professional competencies in cultural project implementation, event organization, and contemporary art program development. The experience gained and new professional contacts will help strengthen the city’s cultural life and provide additional opportunities for future projects.
